Kuumba

Ok.  It's been a minute but I had to post on my favorite day of Kwanzaa, Kuumba!  Kuumba means creativity.  And even though it comes in random bursts, I love being creative.  I also love creative people.  And what better way to end the year than remembering how you used your creativity throughout the year.  So in the last 3 hours of this day and year, do something creative.  And if you can't, then think creative thoughts. Like BAM!  lol

Have a great night!  Be safe!  Have fun!  Be creative!

Kwanzaa

Today is the first day of Kwanzaa! Habari gani!? Umoja! I'll get more into the Seven Principles (Nguzo Saba) later. But since you're clearly already on the internet you can do your own research in the meantime.

Peace.

Dante

So I got Dante back today and he works just fine now.  Hopefully I won't have any more problems out him.  Especially next semester because I definitely won't have time for that foolishness then.  Anyway, I'm still working out what I can say about Atlanta (not the city but the alias I gave one of my men).  I don't write out what I type before I put it up here but I just like to have an idea.  There is so much to say about him.  But let me stop before I get to deep into that.   I'll probably end up writing about him tonight since I have Dante back now. =)

Church

I must say that there is no family like church family. I love going to my home church. It's like going home to a family you chose. They are some of the kindest, warm-hearted, funniest, craziest, and dare I say, messiest people I know. Just like a real family. So I just wanted to say that. I love yall!

Seven Pounds

I just saw "Seven Pounds" a few hours ago and I must say it wasn't all it they made out to be. I don't know who maybe reading so I won't give away the movie. But I left the theater slightly confused. I understood his need for redemption but I didn't understand why he did a whole lot of other stuff he did. I need to watch again. I feel like even though I paid attention the entire time, I still missed something. Hell, maybe I need to call Will Smith or Rosario Dawson and get them to break it down for me.

My recommendation: Go see it. A lot of people got it, a lot of people didn't. Hopefully, you'll be in the former category and not the latter.

KiKi the Second

So... I had to get my phone replaced yesterday. It took almost three hours. So needless to say I was .38 hot when I left the Verizon store. Verizon still has the best service and phones but the foolishness pissed me off yesterday. So anyway, KiKi has been replaced by KiKi the Second.
Now, I'm sitting in the movie theater waiting on Seven Pounds, starring Will Smith (such a fine caramel brother), to start. I've heard nothing but good things about the movie. And everyone on Facebook is raving about it so I'm excited. I got my favorite perfect seat in the theater! Almost at the top in the exact middle.
I also want to see Cadillac Records and Four Christmases. But that's going to have to be a movie day saved for a later date.
